Please join us for our next meeting with Dr Marcio Maia on the topic of alveolar ridge preservation after dental extractions in consideration for prosthodontic replacement.
Dr Marcio Maia, BDS, MSc, MBA, is an Adelaide-based general dentist with a special interest in Implant Dentistry and approximately 20 years of clinical experience. He completed postgraduate training obtaining the title of specialist in Implant Dentistry, and Endodontics in Brazil, holds a Master’s degree in Dentistry and an MBA in Health Care Management.
Dr Maia has extensive experience in dental education, having lectured since 2014 and previously served as Associate Professor on the Implant Dentistry Specialization of Redentor University in Brazil. He is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the Australian Dental Association (ADA), and currently serves on the Board of the Australasian Osseointegration Society – South Australian Branch.
He regularly lectures nationally and internationally on implant dentistry, implant restoration, soft-tissue management and implant maintenance, with recent presentations and educational programs across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Brazil.
As usual current financial members of APS SA members are able to attend the meeting at no cost.
